  一、CEP中学项目介绍

华南师范大学外国语学校CEP中学(以下简称CEP中学)秉承“更中国、更世界”的办学理念,运用IE【启发潜能】教育思想,把国家课程和IB教育理念进行融合,提倡PBL项目制探究式学习,实施全人教育。培养具有广博的知识、优雅的态度、突出的外语能力、独立创新的精神;同时也是健康快乐、富有爱心和责任感、能适应未来的世界公民。

The Affiliated Foreign Language School of South China Normal University CEP Middle School (hereinafter referred to as CEP Middle School) adheres to the concept of “Embrace China. Embrace the World” ad uses IE“Invitational Education”idea to integrate national curriculum and IB education concepts, and it advocates the PBL project learning system, implements a whole person education. The school aims to cultivate the world citizens with a wide range of knowledge, elegant attitude, outstanding foreign language ability and independent innovation. At the same time, they are also expected to be healthy, happy, caring and responsible that can adapt to the future of the world.

CEP中学在科学高效完成国家课程的同时,还将国际课程本土化,突出中西融合、多维英语、个性化选修、EMI课程和兼修二外。在华外CEP中学,英语不仅仅是作为一门语言来学习,更多的是作为学习的媒介语,英语戏剧、英语思维、剑桥英语、艺术·科技、设计、体育等课程由外籍教师来教授。在沉浸式的外语环境中习得语言,理解文化,从而为培养“世界公民”奠定基础。

While CEP Middle School completes the national curriculum scientifically and efficiently, it also localizes international courses, highlights the integration between China and the West, multidimensional English, personalized elective courses, EMI courses and the second language. In CPE Middle School in China, English is not only used as a language to learn, but also as a medium for learning. English drama, English thinking, Cambridge English, Arts, Science, Design, and Sports are taught by foreign teachers. Students can learn language and understand the culture in an immersive foreign language environment, which will lay the foundation for the cultivation of“global citizens”.

陈泽芳 Grace Chen

特级校长,全国管理创新典范校长。现任华南师范大学附属外国语学校校长,华南师范大学教育发展中心副主任,广东省中小学校长联合会副秘书长,岭南同文教育投资有限公司副总裁。担任四川重点中学校长近十余年,担任名校集团总校长8年。兼任市区人大代表、区人民政府兼职督学、市教育管理带头人、市名校长工作室领衔人,被中国教育学会列入“教育家”培养对象。

Super school principal, a model of national management innovation. She is currently Principal of Foreign Languages School of South China Normal University, Deputy Director of the Education Development Center of South China Normal University, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Association of Primary and Secondary School Principals, and Vice President of Lingnan Tongwen Education Investment Co., Ltd. She has served as the key middle school principal in Sichuan for nearly 10 years and served as the principal of the elite school group for 8 years. She is also the deputy of the people's congress, a supervisor of the district people's government, a leader of the city's education management, and a leader of the city's principal studio. She is included in the educator training target by the Chinese Education Association.

 

费安兴Andi Fei

华南师范大学附属外国语学校CEP中学副校长,总校工会主席。从事中学教育教学管理工作20多年,历任国际学校德育处主任、助理校长等职务,经验丰富,成果显著。市级教科研带头人,广州市优秀班主任,广东省民办教育先进工作者,国家二级心理辅导师。承担多个省级以上课题,发表论文多篇。

Associate Principal of CEP Foreign Language School of South China Normal University, Chairman of Labor Union of the Head School. He has been engaged in the teaching management of middle school education for more than 20 years. He has served as director and assistant principal of the moral education department of international schools. He has rich experience and remarkable achievements. He is municipal education and scientific research leaders, Guangzhou excellent class teacher, Guangdong Province, advanced education for private education, national secondary counselors. He has undertaken several provincial and national projects and published many articles.

 

宋要武  Walter  Song                       

  华南师范大学附属外国语学校CEP中学部学监,  主管中学教学与教研工作,原广州市荔湾区教育发展研究中心副主任。英语中学高级教师,从事教育工作近40年,历任学校英语科组长、教导处副主任、副校长、区教研室副主任、市中学英语教研会常务理事、秘书长、会长、副会长等职务,对学校的教学管理与教学质量监控有丰富的经验。

Mr. Walter works as the school superintendent of CEP middle department in the affiliated foreign language school of SCNU and in charge of middle school teaching and research work. He is the former deputy director of the education development research center in Liwan district of Guangzhou. He is a senior teacher in English middle school and engages in English teaching for more than 40 years. In the past years of education, he has served as the head of the school English group, dean's office deputy director, vice-principal, district deputy director of teaching and research office, executive director of the English teaching and research council of urban middle school, secretary general, president, vice president and other duties. He has extensive experience in teaching management and teaching quality monitoring.

 

黄冬梅 Mandy Huang

华南师范大学附属外国语学校CEP中学课程与教师发展部主任。中学语文一级教师,区级骨干教师,广州市民办教育优秀教师。从教25年,担任学校教导处主任8年,参与过“情、理、知、能”语文教学课改实验、学校课程编制与实施方案等多个课题的研究。曾获中青年语文教师阅读教学竞赛市级一等奖,“语文报杯”全国中小学生作文竞赛写作指导一等奖。

Mandy is the director of curriculum and teacher development of the affiliated foreign language school of SCNU. She is a first-level Chinese teacher of middle school, district-level backbone teacher, and an excellent teacher of private education in Guangzhou. In the past 25 years of teaching, she has served as director of the guidance office for 8 years, participated in Chinese teaching reform experiment of "motion, reason, knowledge, ability", participated in school curriculum preparation and implementation plan. She has won the first prize in reading teaching competition of middle-aged Chinese teachers and the first prize in the writing competition of the "Chinese newspaper cup".

 

 

 

郑伟  David Zheng

   华南师范大学附属外国语学校CEP中学学生成长指导部副主任,持“学生发展指导师”资格,广州市天河区“教育信息化中心组”成员,有十余年国际学校德育工作经验。

David is the deputy director of secondary school student growth guidance the affiliated foreign language school of SCNU. He is qualified as a student development instructor and member of the education information center group in Tianhe district of Guangzhou. He has more than ten years' experience in moral education in international schools.

教师团队由国内教学经验丰富的优秀教师、外籍教师及海外留学归国教师组成。平均年龄35岁,中高级职称28人,研究生学历以上18人,海归4人,外籍教师7人。

The teacher team consists of excellent teachers with rich experience in domestic teaching, foreign teachers and overseas returned teachers. The average age of them is 35, there are 28 teachers got senior title, above 18 achieved postgraduate degree, 4 returnees    and 7 foreign teachers.

 

三、特色课程介绍

英语思维English Thinking Skills

Thinking is something we all do all the time, yet not everyone is good at it. However, you don’t need to be “Einstein” in order to be proficient at decision making, experimentation, problem solving, or igniting creativity. This course breaks down the complex nature of thought and focuses on how to improve specific areas of our brains in more practical and exciting ways. Students will evaluate their achievements by taking part in engaging, thought provoking activities that will surely challenge their brains.

思考是我们一直都在做的事情, 但并不是每个人都擅长。然而, 你不需要像 "爱因斯坦"那样精通决策、实验、解决问题或激发创造力。这门课程打破了思维的复杂性, 专注于如何以更实用、更激动人心的方式改进我们大脑的特定领域。学生将通过参与激励性和发人深省的活动来评估他们的成就, 这肯定会挑战他们的大脑。请注意这门课程是用英语授课的。

 

英语音乐剧课 English Musical

English musical courses not only help students learn English, but also can train students to have eight essential skills: thinking skills, international perspective, authentic English-speaking skills, good social skills, rich imagination, high creativity, being confident, and collaboration skills.

英语音乐剧课程不仅能学习英文,更注重培养孩子八大重要的能力:
高感性思维、国际化视野、纯正英文口语、良好社交能力、丰富的想象力、高度的创造力、自信阳光的性格、团队协作能力。

 

国际理解International Understanding

    International Understanding curriculum trains students to respect and understand the basic customs and basic spirits of other countries, ethnic groups, and regions on the basis of their cultural identity, so that they can deal with each other on an equal footing and live in harmony, and they can jointly handle international affairs in the future.

国际理解课程培养学生在对本民族文化认同的基础上,尊重和了解其他国家、民族、地区的基本风俗习惯及基本精神,从而和他们平等交往、和睦相处,今后共同处理国际事务。

 

中华传统文化课程Chinese Traditional Culture Curriculum

Chinese traditional culture is the root of all Chinese people. It is the mission and responsibility of our Chinese sons and daughters to recognize and learn the essence of our traditional culture. The Chinese traditional culture curriculum leads children to listen to the teachings of the sages and learn the excellent qualities of the sages. It cultivates the children with erudite knowledge, and promotes the essence of Chinese traditional culture.

中华传统文化是我们每个中国人的根,认识、学习我国传统文化精髓,是我们每个中华儿女应有的使命与责任。中华传统文化课程带领孩子们聆听先贤的谆谆教导,学习圣贤的优秀品质,培养孩子们博学雅正的文化内涵,发扬中华传统文化精粹。

【BYOD项目介绍】

With the constant improvement of wisdom campus construction,modern information technology has been used as a powerful tool for students to learn and understand the world. The iPad project is to change students' learning style, make the learning process become lively and interesting. Through big data, it can also make learning goals more personalized, and provide more targeted learning content, so that students can learn more actively.

随着智慧校园建设的不断完善和改进,现代信息技术已经作为学生学习和认识世界的强有力工具,iPad项目就是要致力于改变学生的学习方式,让学习的过程变成生动有趣。通过大数据,还可以让学习目标更加个性化,更有针对性的提供学习内容,让学生学习更加主动。

 

设计Design

Design course introduces students to Art and Design using computer technologies; students are encouraged to think creatively when showing emotions and ideas. Pupils learn the different elements of art (line, shape, form…) and the basic principles of design (rhythm, pattern, contrast, color…) using computer software related to design, like Photoshop and Illustrator, two of the most powerful tools used in graphic design. Students will be able to function using English language to talk and explain their own designs in very structured and highly contextualized situations (there is a strong emphasis on acquiring vocabulary at this level). The development of intercultural understanding and appreciation is also an integral part of the course.

设计课程采用计算机技术向学生介绍艺术和设计;鼓励学生在表达情感和想法时创造性地思考。学生将学习不同元素的艺术 (线条, 形状, 形式...) 和设计的基本原则 (节奏, 模式, 对比, 色彩...),使用与设计相关的计算机软件, 如 Photoshop 和Illustrator, 这是图形设计中使用的两种最强大的工具。学生将能够在非常有条理和高度语境的情况下使用英语语言来谈论和解释他们自己的设计 (在这个层次上, 我们非常重视获取词汇)。跨文化理解和欣赏的发展也是课程的一个组成部分。
