“原来,孩子在学校是这样学习的呀!”

一位家长在一年级的开放课堂结束后感慨道,眼中满是惊喜与自豪。

四月的校园,阳光明媚,也洒进了教室,洒进了家长的心里。在华外小学部,每一间教室都藏着成长的秘密,每一个孩子都在用属于自己的方式闪闪发光。

Bathed in April sunshine, HW Elementary’s classrooms revealed the wonders of student growth, where every child shines in their unique way.



2025年4月22日至28日,小学开启了一年一度的教学开放周“与孩子同窗 9.0”,邀请全体家长分年级走进校园,深入了解孩子的学习、生活情况,更好地了解学校的教学管理,充分发挥学校、家庭的整体教育功能,让家校形成合力。真诚邀请家长们走进课堂、走进PBL项目、走进孩子的真实成长现场。

From April 22-28, 2025, HW Elementary hosted its annual Teaching Open Week, inviting parents to experience their children’s daily learning and school life. 



不同于传统观摩式开放日,此次活动设置更具“沉浸感”与“参与感”:

Moving beyond passive observation, the event emphasized immersion and participation:


PBL阶段性成果展示亮相各班教室,学生们用展板、实物、讲述、表演,化身“小小讲解员”,自信分享学习过程与思考成果。

PBL showcases filled classrooms, with students acting as confident young presenters, explaining their projects through displays, artifacts, and performances.



这不仅是一次教学展示,更是一场教育理念的“共鸣”与“对话”。正如学校所秉持的那样:“更中国、更世界”,在开放中育人,在协同中成全。

Collaborative discussions between teachers and parents highlighted the school’s ethos: “Embrace China, Embrace the World.”


精彩的课堂教学,由年级与学科团队集体备课,不仅展示了教师高超的教学艺术,更体现了大单元统整理念的深度落地。家长们看到的,不止是课堂上的“听说读写”,更是背后深藏的创造力、合作力与表达力。

Lessons, designed through collaborative teacher planning, demonstrated the application of integrated thematic units. Parents witnessed not only language and academic skills but also creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.



在各学科的课上,孩子们围绕一个主题展开讨论、小组合作探究、大胆分享,师生一问一答中,透露着自主思考的力量。

最令人动容的是,孩子们说:“欢迎爸爸妈妈来到我们的教室!”那一刻,家校的心,是靠得最近的。

In subject-based classes, students led discussions, conducted group inquiries, and shared ideas freely. A touching moment came when children greeted parents: “Welcome to our classroom!”—a testament to the close alignment of school and family goals.



PBL年级互动评价环节,教师以导师制深度参与,班主任与配班教师各指导两个会场,陪伴并积极引领学生进行客观评价,真正实现“全过程育人”。家长在观展后纷纷感叹:“孩子成长得比想象中更快,原来项目式学习这么有趣!”

During PBL evaluations, teachers acted as mentors, guiding students through peer assessments. Parents expressed amazement: “They’ve grown faster than we realized—project-based learning makes education so vibrant!”



这些看得见的成果背后,是小学以学生发展为中心:每一次表达、每一张手绘图、每一段项目分享,都是孩子个性与能力的自然绽放。学校也通过这样的开放形式,让教育回归“可感知的真实”,让家长走进“看得见的陪伴”。

Every presentation, sketch, and project reflected HW Elementary’s student-centered philosophy. By opening its doors, the school made education a tangible, shared journey.



这不仅仅是一场教学开放,更是一次理念的传递、一次情感的连接。它让家长不只是“接送者”,更是“共育者”;让课堂不只是“教书场”,更是“育人所”。

This event transcended academic display—it bridged ideas and emotions, transforming parents from bystanders into co-educators and classrooms into holistic learning communities.
