Charity Sale
On May 30th, Under the theme "Explore the World, Share Love," HW’s Primary & Secondary Divisions, alongside Lingnan Education Charity Foundation, the Parent Committee, and Tongwen Academy, co-hosted the Creative Bazaar. Teachers, students, and parent volunteers joined in welcoming childhood through creativity and love.

Each grade represented a continent, each class a country. Students became "little diplomats," turning classrooms into "national pavilions." Creative stalls, vibrant charity sales, and diverse cultures immersed participants in a world tour.

The "Lingnan China Pavilion" featured herb sachets and TCM experiences, with "Young Chinese Shopkeepers" adding charm.

Every smile reflected careful preparation. Classes operated like small "start-ups," handling stall design, marketing slogans, and posters. "We made loyalty cards – collect three for a prize!" proudly explained a fifth-grader.

Students sold items like secondhand books, self-drawn art, homemade crafts, and creative snacks. They practiced salesmanship, courtesy, cooperation, communication, and gratitude.

This bazaar was more than celebration; it was project-based learning. Students collaborated on setups, learned through service, and gained through giving. Teachers noted emerging leadership, responsibility, cultural awareness, and financial literacy.
A parent volunteer remarked: "This is the most meaningful Children’s Day event I’ve seen – real growth, not just play."

All proceeds went to the HW Designated Fund for charity projects. Lingnan Education Charity Foundation awarded certificates to donating classes and individuals, documenting this "growing kindness."
Smiles, stalls, and donations formed the children’s gift to the world.
