在中文阅读领域，我们为学生铺就了从经典文学到生活感悟的阅读之路。
《绿野仙踪》的奇幻情节，刘慈欣科幻作品的宏大想象，都成为学生阅读的养分。同学们或精心制作手抄报，用文字与色彩勾勒书籍轮廓、分享阅读感悟。
像关于《苏东坡传》《云物农坊》《解忧杂货店》的推荐手抄报，以生动的插画、精炼的文字，呈现书籍亮点与个人阅读思考，每一份手抄报都是对作品的深度解读，更是阅读热情的直观体现；
还有《简・爱》的阅读手抄报，从艺术特色、内容概述，到作者简介、主题思想，全方位展现对这部经典的理解，细腻文字与精美插画结合，足见阅读时的投入与用心。
We offer a path from classics to modern works. Students engage with books like The Wizard of Oz and Liu Cixin’s sci-fi stories. They create handwritten posters—featuring illustrations and summaries—to share insights on books such as Biography of Su Dongpo, The Cloud and the Farm, and Miracles of the Namiya General Store. These posters show deep understanding and enthusiasm.
同学们也会提笔写下旅行日记，以文字捕捉沿途风景与内心触动，在生活场景中延伸阅读的触角；或用心整理环境描写素材，为写作积攒文字的力量。
Some write travel journals or collect descriptive passages to improve their writing.
为了让阅读氛围更浓厚，我们鼓励学生相互分享阅读体验，班级里时常能看到大家推荐好书、交流感悟的身影，让阅读从个人的沉浸变为群体的共鸣，在交流中深化对文字的理解，涵养文化底蕴，培育探究与沟通等 IB 素养。
We encourage students to share recommendations and reflections in class, turning solo reading into a group experience. This fosters communication, inquiry, and cultural understanding.
英文阅读则为学生搭建了通往世界的桥梁。《The One and Only Ivan》中 Ivan 的英雄成长，《Ender's Game》里充满科幻色彩的冒险，都吸引着学生深入阅读。
同学们用英文手抄报展现对作品的理解，精准的英文表达与生动的画面结合，尽显阅读成果；对经典童话角色的 “现代重塑”，如把 Snow White 打造成阳光健康的生活推广者，Little Red Riding Hood 变成爱分享的户外达人，在创意改编中，既提升英文表达能力，又锻炼跨文化思维。
English books like The One and Only Ivan and Ender’s Game open doors to global ideas. Students make English posters to demonstrate comprehension. They also reinterpret classic characters—for example, turning Snow White into a health advocate—enhancing both language skills and cross-cultural thinking.
我们积极营造英文阅读氛围，让英文阅读成为暑期生活的日常。在这样的氛围中，学生们的英文语言能力、创新思维等 IB 素养得以锻造，在全球视野下，更好地理解与沟通。
By making English reading part of daily life, we strengthen students’ language skills and innovative thinking within a global context.

Guided by the IB philosophy, HW EABA MYP believes reading is essential for growth. Integrating reading into daily life helps students develop inquiry, communication, and multicultural understanding. Just as they shone in their summer reading, their ongoing engagement continues to nurture their growth as well-rounded, passionate readers.
